Pressure Washing: High Force, Hard Surfaces
Pressure washing uses a high-PSI (pounds per square inch) stream of water — typically between 2,500 and 4,000 PSI — to physically blast dirt, grime, and stains off of hard, durable surfaces. Think concrete driveways, brick pavers, and commercial loading docks. The force of the water does the cleaning.
It's fast, effective, and exactly the right tool for the right job. But aim that same nozzle at your roof shingles or your screen enclosure, and you've got a very expensive repair on your hands.
Soft Washing: Low Force, Smart Chemistry
Soft washing flips the script. Instead of relying on brute force, it uses low pressure — about the same as a garden hose — combined with biodegradable cleaning solutions that actually kill the mold, mildew, algae, and bacteria living on your surface. The chemistry does the cleaning. The water just rinses.
This is the right method for anything that could be damaged by high pressure: roof shingles and tile, painted siding, stucco, wood, vinyl, screen enclosures, and most house exteriors.
